Diamante socks are finally finished!
Zigzag socks knit for a First Grade Teacher
Hand dyeing yarn with Koolaid
Sitting in the dye after heating in microwave
A few times in the microwave and the dye is completely soaked in to the socks.
Liked the green and orange, but it needed purple in the middle. I added that later.
The finished product! We decided to call the color "Mystery Machine."

Wow, I thought you were joking with the kool-aid. You've taken crafty to a whole new level! I wonder if I sprinkled kool-aid on a paper plate and you were allowed to lick it if you could guess the flavor? What if I mashed it into our midnight delight--I bet we would have won the contest then! It's just me. I'd love to see you around. I'm croppin Saturday (freebe daytime tmi) and the 18th midnight madness. I'm glad I found you on Ravelry! You have some amazing pieces!
Happy 4th of July!
